FIRST TOURIST GROUP FROM TURKEY ARRIVED IN OHRID

  

In organization the tour operator Tatilbudur, at the Ohrid airport “St. Paul the Apostle”, the first group of 180 tourists from Turkey arrived with charter flight from the airline Onur Air, Istanbul.

With traditional ceremony of Turkish delight and cake, Mayor Jovan Stojanoski, Minister of transport and communications Goran Sugareski, TAV Macedonia General Director Alper Ersoy and Onur Air Director General Theoman Tosun wished warm welcome of the first guests from Turkey for the 2018 season.

The new seasonal flights Istanbul-Ohrid-Istanbul will operate every week, from April 15th to October 21st. The departure time from Istanbul will be at 13:30 o’clock and from Ohrid to Istanbul at 15 o’clock. This summer we expecting with 23 flights from Istanbul to come 4,500 guests in Ohrid.

Currently, Ohrid’s airport operates with direct flights from Basel, Zurich and London, these flights are activate all year round. For the upcoming season besides Istanbul, flights from Warsaw, Tallinn and Eindhoven are announced alongside the existing ones from Amsterdam, Brussels, Tel Aviv and Katowice. Starting from autumn, a regular line from Vienna to Ohrid will be launched.
