Ohrid Under the motto “Don’t Worry, Be Ohrid!”, from 10th to 14th of October, Ohrid will be host of the fourth International Gastronomy Competition – “Gastro Mac”.
This continental gastronomic event is organized by the National Association of Chefs of the Republic of North Macedonia, it is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Ohrid.
It is expected more than 300 participants, over 90 licensed judges from the World Association of Kitchen Chefs, Gastronomic Ambassadors and Honorary Visitors from 30 countries, will attend the event. This year’s judicial team’s president is the famous Croatian chef Stevo Karapandza.
In addition, at the side of the activities planned within the competition, presentations will be organized for all gourmets from our and other international cuisines.
As part of the program, on October 12 will be held Don David’s Fish Fest, when judges- prominent chefs, who are with Michelin Stars, will prepare an outdoor barbecue and tastings will be open to all visitors.
