Ohrid The Mayor of the Municipality of Ohrid Konstantin Georgieski was on an official visit to the Municipality of Korca, R. of Albania. As one of the main focuses that were discussed during the working meeting with Mayor Sotirak Filo was the process of determining the program for cross-border cooperation between Northern Macedonia and Albania within the IPA III program of the European Union for the period from 2021 to 2027.
Moreover, during the meeting, they discussed the need to define a common strategic vision for the development of the municipalities of Ohrid and Korca, which will be contributing in the direction of the future progress of the whole cross-border region. The two mayors agreed that the creation and implementation of joint projects should be in correlation with regional policies and they should have positive benefits for the citizens of the cross-border region of the two countries.
